Bushkill Park
Bushkill
Park is a great Pennsylvania amusement park located near Easton,
PA. The park has many rides and attractions for your whole
family to enjoy. Bushkill Park opened its doors to the PA
public July 3rd, 1902. The first owners of Bushkill Park were
Neal Fehnel & William Hogan. In 1996 Bill Hogan sold his
property interest in the park to Sam Baurkot in 1996. In 1997
the park added a chocolate factory to give visitors a opportunity
to enjoy some homemade chocolates.
Visitors to the park can experience almost all
the park has to offer in about 5 hours. The best time to visit
is during the week, the crowed's are smaller and the admission
is cheaper. The park features 18 rides A funhouse with a large,
wooden, rotating barrel that you can play in. Other rides
include the Lusse Auto Skooters (Bumper Cars), a Train, Tilt-A-Whirl,
Whip and Scrambler as well as a nine kiddie rides. There is
also a Roller Skating Rink in the park for your families enjoyment.
To get to the park from Interstate 78, take the 25th street/Wilson
Street exit which is route 248. Go west for almost a mile
until the traffic light just before the Palmer Park Mall.
Turn right on to Park Road and the park is about one mile
away on your right hand side. Turn right to cross the bridge
and enter the parking lot.
