Conneaut Lake Park

Lake Park is located just West of Meadville at Conneaut Lake.
From Interstate 79, take route 6 West toward Conneaut
Lake. Follow route 6 west past the lake and through the
town to route 618. Turn right on to route 618 and the park
is about 2 miles on your right. Parking is available on the
left and right side of the road. Conneaut Lake Park is home
to the Blue Streak Roller Coaster. The park is also home to
the oldest Tumble Bug ride. Food is available throughout the
park. The beautiful Hotel
Conneaut is located right inside the park grounds.
Conneaut lake park started as a boat landing
in 1877, it was owned by Aaron Lynce. In 1982 Lynce sold his
7 acre area to the Conneaut lake Exposition company. In the
beginning the park was known as Exposition Park and it was
more like a resort than an amusement park. It was not till
1899 that the park opened its first ride. In 1920 the parks
name was finally changed to it current name Conneaut lake
park. Today the park offers 33 rides, a water park, beach,
ballroom and hotel. The lake is the main draw in the area
but if you are in the area make sure you visit the park, the
family will love it.
