Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park

Dutch Wonderland is a great park located in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch country. At one time the park had just kiddie rides but now it is more of a family park with an emphasis toward children having a safe and fun time. May 20th 1963, Dutch Wonderland opened it doors to the public. The owner was Earl Clark a potato buyer from Lancaster PA. The park is located 3.9 miles east of Lancaster Pennsylvania. It is open daily from memorial day weekend through labor day from 10am - dark. Parking is free, admission is under $35 for adults and discounts are available for kids and senior citizens.

It will take all day for your family to enjoy Dutch Wonderland park so make sure you have a full day set aside. I recommend making your visit to the park part of a weekend trip to the Dutch area of Pennsylvania. If you would like to save money try visiting the park during the week. The park has over 30 rides, live shows and many other attractions. For you nature lovers make sure you check out the botanical gardens located on 5 acres in the back of the park. The whole family can take a boat tour of the area. Make sure you bring the camera there are many great spots of photos.
