Lakemont Park

Lakemont Park is located South of Altoona, Pennsylvania in the town of Lakemont. The park is home to a number of rides and a waterpark. The signature ride is Leap-The-Dips which is the world's oldest standing roller coaster dating from 1902. There is a museum covering Lakemont Park history on the property . The museum has odd hours so make sure you call ahead of time. General admission and parking are free. You must buy tickets for each ride, it is cheaper if you buy in bulk so get your group to purchase together. The park is close to the famous Horseshoe Curve so make sure you stop by the railroad attraction it is worth the visit.
